Ludwig van Beethoven

 Ludwig van Beethoven was born in the small town of Bonn, Germany on 16 December 1770 into a family of professional musicians. His father Johan and grandfather Ludwig were musicians and they decided to train him in music from his childhood, so his father took on the job to tech him the basic of music. Beethoven learnt violin and some other instruments from his father. His father wanted him to be perfect in music, and in that endeavour he thrashed little Beethoven whenever he made any mistake during practice. Besides the fact that his father and grandfather had a wish Beethoven should become a great musician, he himself had a great interest in music. Whatever treatment Beethoven received from his father, he never let fade his love and interest in music fade.

Further, Beethoven was sent to learn music from Christian Gottlob Neefe. Beethoven learnt every possible and minute detail of music from Neefe and also besame his assistant when he was 11 years of age. He learnt piano, violin and organ from Neefe. When Beethoven was 12 years old, his first music work was published. Beethoven dropped out of his school when he was 13 years old in order to concentrate on his practice and to perform in musical tours.

Beethoven then continued assisting Neefe till was 17 years old. In 1787, he went to Vienna in search of good opportunities and to demonstrate his talent in music. But he had to return to his house in Bonn when his mother fell ill and die in 1787. Finally, near 1792 he took of Vienna in search of good work in the field of music.

In Vienna, Beethoven tried to learn new things and learnt composition and counterpoint from well-known personalities from the world music such as Haysn, Albrecht Berger, Salieri, and Schenk. He even published some of his compositions. Beethoven was wise person and had foresight. He established good relations with high profile people in Vienna, which ensured him continual income for lifetime. his networking abilities were so good that the Prince of Vienna, Prince Kinsky and Prince Lobkowitz assured him a yearly income if he agreed to stay in Vienna for the rest of his life
